Be a Difference Maker with Babylock
Sew a small backpack with us on your serger (any brand) and learn some fun tricks about Babylock sergers plus, get a free pattern! Charlene is hard at work with great new ideas and techniques to teach you about your serger while you sew these fun little bags. Sew with us as we create brighter days for foster children in our community. Often left with only a plastic bag to tote their belongings, these kids deserve a little sunshine. This event is being hosted as a community event and Babylock is encouraging you to donate a bag to foster children.

They are back – our Kimberbell events. This one is a new one – Garden Guild! Create a Machine Embroider by Number: Pieced Bloom in a 6×10 hoop at the event, then “leaf” with four additional sizes to stitch later. Add “Darling, You Look Radishing” to a fully-lined Zipper Pouch Blank, then make a “Wet My Plants” Mat perfect for your potted blooms! The three event projects include fresh techniques and fabulous Kimberberbellishments such as Pull Flowers, Cute as a Button(s), Wool Felt Balls, and more. When you join The Garden Guild, your embroidery skills are sure to blossom and grow. We are offering this event in either 3 – 2 hour day classes or 3 – 2 hour evening classes. Please come to class prepared tp sew as we will complete the projects together during class. KITS CAN BE SHIPPED TO YOU!

All Good Things – Block of the Month
Hoopsisters has changed things up this year with their block of the month. Titled “All Good Things” – each block has a theme….such as Vineyard, Love Notes and Farm Fresh to name a few. Each block can be finished on its own to create a cute wall hanging that can be changed out throughout the year or given as gifts……or you can sew them all together to get the “All Good Things” quilt. Each month we will cover some tips and tricks to complete the block and spend some time sewing it together.

Tips and Tricks For The Person New To Machine Embroidery: So you just got a new machine and excited to get started – but not sure where to start -or you have been at it for a little bit and need some refreshers – then this class is for you. We will talk proper hooping, Stabilizers, fabric prep, and other tips that would be needed. This class is not machine specific – though some talk may happen about machines – we will not be talking about how to use your machine in specific.

The perfect way to give you more storage space in your car and look great at the same time. The organizers can be attached to car visors by using strips of elastic and would be perfect for Christmas gifts etc. The organizer can be made in the 5×7 size hoop, it includes two separate panels made in the hoop (a pocket panel and a zipper panel) which are then joined with a regular sewing machine. The backing is also attached using a sewing machine. They are quick and easy to sew making them perfect for craft markets stalls, gifts or your own home.

New! Kimberbell Social Embroidery Club
Do you love to embroider? Do you love to share your work? Do you love to learn new techniques?
We will be hosting an online embroidery club. Every month, a new technique will be demo’d. Patterns will be loaded onto USB sticks and available to pick up after the club. We will not be sewing during this club, but we will be demoing and sharing ideas. The club projects will be based off Kimberbell designs that are clever, whimsical and a fun way to learn different embroidery techniques. Even if you have never done machine embroidery before, you will enjoy this club. Kimberbell designs are so cute and have amazing instructions; this club will not disappoint you. There are NO FEES to attend.
